  •  Day 2: Seoul ~ Gangwon
After breakfast, you will begin your journey of Seoul. First, visit the Dae Jang Geum Theme Park, the largest historical drama set in Korea. The park is a well-known filming site for movies, commercials, and MBC dramas. It is also used by foreign broadcasting networks including NHK to shoot historical scenes about Korea. Continue to another famous Korea drama location, the film site for the "Winter Sonata", Nami Island. It is also a perfect destination for anyone who wants to be away from the fast paced city to be within nature. Next, head to one of Seoul's newest attraction, the Soyanggang Skywalk. The skywalk is an observatory facility set up on Uiamho Lake. The walking path, comprised of transparent glass laid 7.5 meters above the river, creates the illusion of walking on water. Continue to the Seoraksan National Park. This park is one of the most beautiful and iconic parks in the entire Korea Peninsula. Designated by UNESCO as a Biosphere Protection site, it boasts oddly shaped rock formations, dense forests, and abundant wildlife. Visit the Sinheungsa Temple, situated on the slopes of the mountain. On the path to Sinheungsa, there is a great bronze statue called the Bronze Jwabul Statue, which is well over 10 meters tall.  (B, L, D)
  •  Day 3: Gangwon ~ Seoul
This morning, return back to Seoul and visit the Gyeongbokgung Palace, the first and largest of the royal palaces built during the Joseon Dynasty. It is one of the most iconic sights in all of Korea thanks to its long storied history. Take a walk around the Bukchon Hanok Village, home of hundreds or traditional Korean houses that date back to the Joseon Dynasty. Today, many of these operate as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants, and tea houses, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience, learn, and immerse themselves in traditional Korean culture. Make a photo stop at the Seoul Tower, built on a 262 meter peak in Namsan Park. Continue to Namdaemun Market, the largest traditional market in Seoul. It is also the oldest market in Korea. The market, spread out over many blocks, is a dense maze of stalls, vendors, and restaurants. Namdaemun Market offers a large collection of Korean souvenirs for tourists who want to take something unique and fun back home. End our day with a visit to the Trick Eye Museum, where you can blend in with 3D paintings and take epic photos. (B, L, D)

Today, take a full day city tour of Tokyo. First, visit the Meiji Shrine, arguably Tokyo's most popular shrine, is surrounded by a lush green forest. Head to the Sensoji Temple, one of Tokyo's most colorful & photographed temples. When approaching the temples, you will see the Karminarimon, the outer gate of the temple and the symbol of Asakusa.

After lunch, make a photo stop at the Imperial Palace, the primary residence of the Emperor of Japan. Like an island of respite at the heart of Tokyo, the Imperial Palace is surrounded by parks and gardens offering a getaway from the busy city streets. See the Nijubashi, one of the most well-known bridges in Japan. If you are looking at the bridge from the front, the two separate bridges appear as a single two storied bridge. Proceed to Tokyo Tower for a photo stop before heading to Ginza, one of Tokyo's most busy districts, packed with shopping, dining, and nightclubs. You will have some free leisure time here to explore on your own.  (B, L)

  •  Day 7: Tokyo ~ Hakone ~ Shizuoka
Today, depart Tokyo and head to Hakone. Take a Boat Cruise on Lake Ashi. Today, Lake Ashi is often pictured with Mount Fuji in the background as a symbol of Hakone. Visit the Oshino-Hakkai, a peaceful nature area around Mount Fuji. Oshino-Hakkai means the eight seas of Oshino, which is comprised of eight ponds as its name describes. These natural ponds are crystal clear and each one is a little unique. Continue to the Bussharito Heiwa Park. Here you will find a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji that houses the chalky stupa. Continue to Shizuoka and check in at the resort for the night. Enjoy the hot springs bath tonight at the resort.  (B, L, D)
  •  Day 8: Shizuoka ~ Kyoto
In the morning, continue to Kyoto and visit the famous Golden Pavilion with all its beauty. This pavilion cannot be entered and can only be seen from the outside, but yet it is one of Japan's must visit temples and on many people's bucket list. Hopefully you can get some great selfies. Next, head to Gion District. As kabuki dramas became popular on the Gion district’s western edges, more sophisticated forms of entertainment were developed for the theater-goers. Today, Gion is known as Kyoto’s most famous geisha district. Hanamachi – literally “flower town” is a district where geisha entertainment is centered. Each district has its own okiya (geisha households), ochaya (teahouses for entertaining) and kaburenjo (geisha district office). Enjoy some free time here before heading to the hotel and check in.  (B, L)
  •  Day 9: Kyoto ~ Nara ~ Osaka
This morning, visit the Kiyomizu-dera Temple, an UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most celebrated temples of Japan. The temple is best known for its wooden stage built without the use of nails. Take a stroll along the Sannenzaka & Ninenzaka Street, two of Kyoto's most attractive streets. Lined with beautifully restored traditional shophouses and restaurants, Sannen-zaka and Ninen-zaka are a pair of pedestrian-only lanes that make for most atmospheric strolls in the whole city. Continue to visit the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. The magical, seemingly unending path of over 5,000 vibrant orange torii gates that wind through the hills behind the shrine make it one of the most popular shrines in Japan. After lunch, depart Kyoto to Osaka. Enroute, stop in Nara and visit the Todai-ji Temple. The Todaiji Temple, a landmark of Nara and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of Japan's most famous historically significant temples. The main hall, which houses the colossal bronze Buddha statue within, remains the world's largest wooden building. A stop will be made at a duty free shop.

In the late afternoon, visit Shinsaibashi, the largest shopping district in Osaka. With a history of 380 years, it was already an established shopping area in the Edo Period. Shops of all kinds and for all ages line the street, including a roofed arcade 600 meters long. Many people enjoy window-shopping and savoring the food along the way. (B, L)

After breakfast, make your own way to the airport for your flight back home as your trip comes to an end. Departure transfer is not included. Our tour guide will provide you with assistance and instruction on where to obtain the airport limousine bus ticket. (B)
