  • Day 1: Home ~ Taoyuan, Taiwan
    Upon arrival in Taoyuan, transfer to the hotel and check in. The remainder of the day will be at own leisure to enjoy.
  • Day 2: Taoyuan ~ Taipei ~ Nantou
    After breakfast, visit the National Palace Museum. With collections of ancient Chinese imperial artifacts and artworks, it is also called “The Treasury of Chinese Culture” and has become one of the most popular museums in the world. Then, we proceed to National Revolutionary Martyrs’ Shrine. This building was designed based on the Hall of Supreme Harmony in Beijing Forbidden City. The changing ceremony of the honor guard will take place hourly here so visitors can watch the military show of the Republic of China. After lunch, we will head to Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area, which is one of the top 8 attractions in Taiwan. Surrounding a tiny island called Lalu, the Sun Moon Lake is shaped as a Sun at the north side and shaped as a moon at the south side; hence the name Sun Moon Lake. In addition, it is home to the Thao tribe, one of the aboriginals in Taiwan so we will experience the local cuisine, the Feast of Puli Shao- Xing, during dinner. (B, L, D)
  • Day 3: Nantour ~ Chiayi ~ Kaohsiung
    After breakfast, we will head to Ali-Mountain Eternity Suspension Bridge. It is believed that a couple ca stay together forever after passing through the bridge together. Ali-Mountain is one of the most appropriate places to grow tea in Taiwan, so we will stop by the tea shop and then proceed to Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum in Kaoshiung. This is a Mahayanna Buddhist cultural, religious and educational museum with both traditional and modern architectural features. Here you will find a huge golden statue of Buddha Amitaabha, which show this place is the Buddhist center of South Taiwan. Then, we will visit the diamond center in Kaoshiung city and experience the local food at after night market at night. (B, L)
  • Day 4: Kaohsiung ~ Taitung
    After breakfast, we will visit the pearl center and head to Chengcing Lake Scenic Area. With good natural conditions, it is not only surrounded by trees and flowers but also a peaceful atmosphere. At noon, we will have lunch at Din Tai Fung, which has been selected within the “Top 10 Restaurants in the World” by the New York Times and has won the Michelin Star Restaurant five times. Guests can experience a classic taste of Taiwan. After lunch, we can enjoy watching the beautiful ocean around Taiwan long the South-Link Highway. Even more, we will stop by the Duo Liang Train Station to overlook both the view of Pacific Ocean and passing train. At the end of the day, we will experience the Hot Spring at Chihpen, eastern Taiwan. The hot spring here, which is different from most, is colorless and odorless. With good qualities, it is referred as the “Beauty of Love”. (Swimming suit and cap must be prepared on your own) (B, L, D)
  • Day 5: Taitung ~ Hualien
    After breakfast, we will visit the Chili Coral Museum. In Chinese history, a coral represents an honorable status and symbolizes happiness and eternity. With natural conditions, the quality and quantity of corals in Taiwan are better than the ones in the Mediterranean and Japan. They are loved by Chinese people, especially the first lady of Asia, Ms. Soong Mei-ling. Then, we will proceed to Mr. Brown Avenue, which is Taiwan’s nature heaven. The lunch will be the famous Chishang lunch box. After lunch, we will visit National Taroko Park. It is famous of its spectacular mountains and marble canyons. (If the roads are blocked due to typhoons or heavy rain, the attraction will be rescheduled into Qixingtan Beach.) Lastly, we will visit the Hualien County Stone Sculpture Museum, where a series of marble structures are exhibited. (B, L,D)
  • Day 6: Hualien ~ Taipei
    After breakfast, we will head to an aboriginal shop and then take a train to Su'ao. This Train Journey not only avoids the dangerous Suhua Highway but also gives you a special experience in enjoying Taiwan. After arriving in Su'ao, we are going to take a transit bus to Yehliu Geopark, where you can learn the development process of a mushroom rock and witness the appearance of a ginger rock, cleavage, pothole, melting erosion panel, etc. At the end of the day, visit the souvenir shop.   • Day 7: Taipei
    In the morning, we will visit Longshan Temple, which is one of the most famous temples in Taiwan. It displays not only the beauty of traditional temples but also the value of traditional art. After, we will proceed to Liberty Square, originally called C.K.S. memorial hall. This archway is established in memory of Mr. Chiang Kai-shek, the earlier president of Taiwan. We can learn the history of Taiwan heading to the Presidential Office, and we will proceed to Taipei 101 after. Taipei 101 is ranked as the Top 9 tallest financial building in the world; in addition, it is also a famous green building. To have a good view of Taipei 101, we will move on to Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall which is a memorial to the Republic of China's National Father. It also has a multi-purpose social, educational and cultural center for the public. At the end of the day, visit one of the most famous night markets in the world. (B, L)
  • Day 8: Taipei ~Tokyo, Japan
    Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Tokyo, Japan where your vacation will continue. Upon arrival in Tokyo, transfer to the hotel by hotel shuttle bus and check in. The remainder of the day will be at your own leisure to enjoy.  (B)

  • Day 9: Tokyo
    After breakfast, we first head to the Imperial Palace of Tokyo – the residence of the royal family – and visit the “double bridge” (Nijubashi) over the moat. The bridge is a symbol of the Palace. Afterwards we go to the Tokyo Skytree. With a height of 634 metres, it is a broadcasting, restaurant, and observation tower in Sumida. And then we proceed to Senso-ji, an ancient Buddhist temple. It is Tokyo’s oldest temple, and one of its most significant. The Nakamise-dori is a street on the approach to the temple, which housing many traditional shops for souvenirs. Meiji Shrine was built in dedication to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. The original shrine was destroyed during World War II; the current one was re-built in 1958. This area is covered by an evergreen forest that consists of 120,000 trees of 365 different species, which were donated by people from all parts of Japan when the shrine was established. (B, L)
  • Day 10: Tokyo ~ Shizuoka
    After breakfast we head to Fuji Mountain 5th Station, a perfect spot to view the stunning Fuji Mountain. And then visit Oshino Hakkai, a touristy set of eight ponds in Oshino on the site of a former sixth lake that dried out several hundred years ago. The eight ponds are fed by snow melt from the slopes of nearby Mount Fuji that filters down the mountain through porous layers of lava for over 80 years, resulting in very clear spring water that is revered by the locals. Visit Lake Kawaguchi before going to Shizuoka Peace Park – which commands a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji and houses the chalky stupa. The stupa, the symbol of the park, keeps the Buddha's ashes presented by late Indian Prime Minister Nehru. 4 golden images of Buddha are also housed. Tonight we either enjoy the famous Kaiseki, a traditional multi-course Japanese dinner, or King crab buffet. Enjoy all facilities in the hotel and all kinds of hot spring spa. (B, L, D)
  • Day 11: Shizuoka ~ Kyoto
    After breakfast we head to Atsuta Shrine. The shrine's Bunkaden, or treasure hall, houses over 4,000 relics, which include 174 Important Cultural Properties and a dagger that is a designated National Treasure of Japan. Proceed to Magome-juku after visiting a Jewelry workshop. Magome-juku was the 43rd of the 69 stations of the Nakasendō, an ancient road that connected Kyoto and Edo during the Edo period. It was also the last of eleven stations along the Kisoji, which was the precursor to a part of the Nakasendō, running through the Kiso Valley. (B, L, D)
  • Day 12: Kyoto ~ Osaka
    After breakfast we shall go to the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Kiyomizu-dera. The temple was founded in 778, and its present buildings were constructed in 1633, ordered by the Tokugawa Iemitsu. There is not a single nail used in the entire structure. Enjoy lunch before going to Tōdai-ji in Nara. Tōdai-ji is currently the world’s largest wood structure. Afterward we shall spend some times for shopping at the duty free and Shinsaibashi, and enjoy all kind of delicious cuisines in the nearby Dotonbori at your own expense. (B, L)
  • Day 13: Osaka ~ Home
    After breakfast, tour guide will assist you with taking the airport shuttle (On Own Expense) to airport for your flight back home as your trip comes to an end. (B)
