This morning, coach to Pattaya after breakfast. You will visit the Sanctuary of Truth, a truly beautiful and visionary place. Thanks to the vision of one Thai businessman, the Sanctuary of Truth has inspired the revival of traditional Thai building techniques. This magnificent temple is amazingly made entirely from wood. Every piece that has gone into constructing it is wood. That’s right – even the nails, connectors, everything is wooden. As you wander the grounds, taking in the experience, you will be impressed with the design and the tranquility of the Sanctuary. It is not just the beauty of the woodwork that is impressive about the Sanctuary of Truth, it’s the size. The building is 20 stories high, and about as wide. Afterward, return to your hotel and the rest of the day will be at your own leisure to enjoy and explore the city. (B)
