  • Day 1: Beijing, China
    Upon arrival at Beijing International Airport, transfer to the hotel and check in. The remainder of the day will be at your own leisure to enjoy.
  • Day 2: Beijing
    Today, the entire day will be at your own leisure to enjoy and explore the city or opt for an optional tour. (B)

  • Day 3: Beijing ~ Xian
    Today, the morning will be at your own leisure to enjoy and explore the city or opt for an optional tour. In the afternoon, visit the Tian'anmen Square, focusing on a more recent page from China's history and the Cultural Revolution of Chairman Mao Zedong. You will tour the grounds and see Tian'anmen Tower, Monument to the People's Heroes, Great Hall of the People and Chairman Mao's monument. Afterward, make a photo stop at two iconic venues where the monument. Afterward, make a photo stop at two iconic venues where the Olympic Games in Beijing were held: “The Bird’s Nest” (The National Stadium) and “The Water Cube” (The National Aquatics Center), where Michael Phelps won 8 gold medals. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Xian. Upon arrival in Xian, transfer to the hotel and check in. (B)

    Today, the entire day will be at your own leisure to enjoy and explore the city or opt for an optional tour. (B)

  • Day 5: Xian 
    In order to learn about Xian’s epic history, you’ll head to the nearby Shaanxi History Museum, which is perhaps the best museum in China. Since Shaanxi, the province Xi’an is in, is the cradle of Chinese civilization, this museum takes on a special importance. Continue to visit the Drum and Bell Tower Square before touring the Ancient City Wall, one of the few ancient city walls still standing in China. This has become the symbol of Xi'an. Explore the history that lies within the ancient walls surrounding the city and how it still plays an active part of city life that bustles all around it. (B)
  • Day 6: Xian ~ Guilin
    This morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon arrival, visit the Elephant Trunk Hill. It looks like a huge elephant stretching its trunk and drinking water, hence the name. It is the symbol of Guilin and its karst landscape. Afterward, visit a teashop and learn about the Chinese tea culture. Enjoy a special banquet of rice noodle for dinner tonight. Later, wjatch the magical Lijiang Show, a theatrical spectacle that celebrates the rich natural and cultural heritage of Guilin. By pushing the boundaries of dance form with its wildly inventive acrobatics, it exquisitely blends the highest artistic concentration and local legends into one production. (B, L, D)
  • Day 7: Guilin ~ Yangshuo
    Today, depart Guilin to Yangshuo. Enroute, visit the Fuli Ancient Town, known as the "hometown of painted paper fans" in China. It is one of the few best preserved ancient towns in Guilin. From here, board a cruise to see the beauty of Lijiang. On arrival in Yangshuo, visit the West Street, the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. You will be surrounded by an array of traditional folk and amazing international elements. Various shops, craftworks shops, painting and calligraphy stores jostle for attention. It does not only satisfy you visually. You will also be tempted by foods from all over the world.  (B, L, D)
  • Day 8: Yangshuo ~ Guilin
    In the morning, depart Yangshuo and return to Guilin. Enroute, visit Shangri-La Park. It is a marvel for the eyes and a soothing dream for the soul. The area is perfectly set in a hilly karstic mountains' topography made of plains, rivers, and caves. Take a cruise inside the park where you sail on gentle water and enjoy the unique and breathtaking natural beauty. After returning back to Guilin, visit the Reed Flute Cave. The cave got its name from the verdant reeds growing outside it, with which people make flutes. Inside this water-eroded cave is a spectacular world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition. Illuminated by colored lighting, the fantastic spectacle is found in many variations along this 240 meters long cave. Afterward, stop will be made at a jewelery store and silk factory. (B, L, D)
  • Day 9: Guilin ~ Home
    Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home as your trip comes to an end. (B)
