  • Day 1: Los Angeles/New York ~ Bangkok, Thailand
    Depart from Los Angeles / New York for your international flight to Bangkok, Thailand.

  • Day 2: Bangkok
    Upon arrival in Bangkok, transfer to the hotel and check in. The remainder of the day will be at your own leisure to enjoy.
  • Day 3: Bangkok
    In the morning, head out for a half day tour of Bangkok and visit some of the famous temples. See three of the most unusual Buddhist temples in Bangkok: Wat Trimitr with its invaluable Golden Buddha with 5 tons of solid gold. Wat Po, the most extensive temple in Bangkok, with its colossal Reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings - Wat Benjamaborpitr, the White Marble Temple, one of the finest examples of Thai architecture. Return to the hotel and the afternoon will be at your own leisure to enjoy. (B)

  • Day 4: Bangkok ~ River Kwai
    Today, in the early morning, depart to Kanchanaburi province. On arrival, visit Thailand–Burma Railway Centre, an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand– Burma Railway. The center offers the visitor an educational and moving experience. Visit Allied War Cemetery which is memorial to some 6000 allied prisoners of war (POWs) who perished along the death railway line and were moved post-war to this eternal resting place. Visit the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, part of Death Railway constructed by Allied POWs. Take a long-tailed boat on River Kwai to the resort. Check in and have lunch upon arrival. Take a long-tailed boat downstream to Resortel Pier and continue on road to visit the Hellfire Pass Memorial. Then return to the resort. After dinner, enjoy a traditional Mon Dance Performance. (B, L, D)
  • Day 5: River Kwai ~ Bangkok

    Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Bali. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in. The remainder of the day will be yours to enjoy. (B)

    The perfect introduction to Bali’s fascinating culture and handicrafts, picturesque rice fields, traditional villages and a spectacular lake and volcano. We take you to Batubulan to see the exciting Barong Dance. Continue on through the woodcarving village of Mas. Watch artisans chip intricate designs from wood blocks. Visit the fantastic 11th century Elephant Cave (Goa Gajah). Moving into the cool mountains of Kintamani, view Mount Batur with its ribbons of black lava running down its peak into the valley below. that reveals the shimmering lake of Batur. Our route home stops at the Holy Springs, which are believed to have magic curative powers. Visit Ubud, the artistic heart of Bali and Celuk the gold and silver making centre. (B)
