The U.S. over years has maintained strong relations with both India and the U.A.E.

Despite issues throughout history, India and United States have created a strong strategic relationship. According to former President Obama, the India-U.S. relation is the “defining partnership of the 21st century.” With shared interests in economic prosperity, global trade and international security, India has become a vital partner with the U.S., not only politically, but also economically. Today, the relationship covers a wide-range of facets including cyber security, clean energy, space technology, health reforms, educational growth, high-technology, investments and military defense.

The U.S. – U.A.E. began their relations in 1971 after the U.A.E.’s formation and independence from the United Kingdom. They cooperate, not only for domestic growths in defense, trade, energy and education, but also for international growths in economy, educational opportunities and security. With the growth of bilateral relations, U.A.E has become the largest U.S. export market in the Middle East and North Africa region. Social and cultural relations are strong as the U.A.E. has partnered with multiple organizations in the U.S. for educational reform, healthcare improvements, women’s rights and environmental preservation.

Travel to India and the United Arab Emirates to experience their political, cultural and social environment and their U.S. relations.
