  • Day 1: Rome, Italy
    Upon arrival in Rome, transfer to the hotel and check in. The remainder of the day will be at yours to enjoy.
  • Day 2: Rome
    In the morning, take a short scenic tour of the city, which will be a great introduction to “the Eternal City”, in which we will know, among other places, the Caracalla Baths, Venice Square, Circo Massimo, the Capitoline Hills or St. John Lateran. Enter the tiny state of the Vatican. The Vatican City is a principal center of Christianity in the world. You will be able to visit the St. Peter’s Basilica at your own expense. The remainder of the day will be at your own leisure to enjoy. (B)
  • Day 3: Rome
    Today, the entire day will be at your own leisure to enjoy the city. (B)
  • Day 4: Rome ~ Siena
    Today, discover the very beautiful region of Tuscany. See Orvieto, the medieval city atop a mountain. Before entering the city, you will enjoy the impressive view from its viewpoint, after which, you will enter the promontory to see the façade of its cathedral. Travel to Castiglione del Lago, on the banks of Lake Trasimeno, where you have time for a stroll. Visit Siena, with its famous Piazza del Campo and Duomo. (B)
  • Day 5: Siena ~ Florence
    Depart Siena and stop to see Monteriggione, a magical medieval little village; its cobbled streets, its walls, its little shops. After this, continue to San Gimignano, a charming little city with its tall medieval towers. Continue to Florence and check in at the hotel. The remainder of the day will be yours to enjoy. (B)

    Today, take a city tour, one of the most famous cities of art and history in the world. (B)
  • Day 7: Florence ~ Genoa
    Travel to Pisa. Take a little train to the monumental Field of Miracles where you can find the popular Leaning Tower. Visit the Ligurian Coast, with some of the prettiest coastlines in Europe. Cinque Terre has been declared UNESCO World Heritage, and comprises five villages almost isolated by road, which live on fishing and tourism. Given the difficult access by road, you will go by public train to Vernazza, which maintains its appearance of a citadel, with its outstanding church of Santa Margarita built in 1318, overlooking the sea. Afterward, continue your journey to Genoa. It center reminds us that it was an uprising Republic in the Middle Ages. (B)
  • Day 8: Genoa ~ Milan
    Travel to the nearby city of Santa Margarita Ligure, where you embark for Portofino, one of the most exclusive places in Europe, and a stroll by the sea and free time here. Continue to Milan, the busy northern city, and check in upon arrival. (B)
  • Day 9: Milan ~ Verona
    Today, see one of the most beautiful scenic areas of Europe, the region of the Italian lakes. First, travel to Lake Orta. In Orta de San Giulio, you will find a medieval city preserved intact. A Train Ride to reach the center of the Medieval town, and then a Boat to the Island of San Giulio, a little island on the lake with a monastery. After, go on to Lake Maggiore, and on its shores, stop in Stressa. After lunch, continue to Verona and check in at the hotel upon arrival. (B)
  • Day 10: Verona ~ Venice
    This morning, you will have time to see the city of Romeo and Juliet before departing for Venice. Arriving in Venice, and board a Vapporetto to travel around on the canals in the historic center. Visit the marvelous St. Mark’s and enter the marvelous Basilica. Afterwards, you shall be able to visit the Murano Glass Factory. It is marvelous to see the technique how this ancient glass is made. Free leisure time to explore the city afterward. (B)
  • Day 11: Venice ~ Perugia
    Depart for Padova, the destination of many pilgrims, where you will see the Saint’s Basilica. Go on to the Adriatic coast to see San Marino, a small independent country on top of a strongly fortified mountain. Go on your way amidst pretty mountain countryside, crossing the Apennines to Gubbio, a marvelously preserved town in which the Palace of Consuls and the 12th century cathedral stand out. Continue to Perugia after. (B)
  • Day 12: Perugia ~ Naples
    Perugia is a historic city also name as the city of chocolate. Climbing its ramps that cross the rocky outcrop, and you will be surprised by its squares and stone streets. After, travel to Assisi, where you will have time for lunch and see the Basilica of St. Francis. Continue to Naples and check in at the hotel on arrival. (B)
  • Day 13: Naples ~ Salerno
    This morning, you will have free time to stroll around Naples before boarding for a Boat Trip to the Isle of Capri. Later board again and continue to Sorrento, a charming, tourist town at the foot of a cliff. Free time to stroll around. Continue to the Gulf of Salerno. (B, D)
  • Day 14: Salerno ~ Rome
    Today, go to Pompeii, where you will have an opportunity to admire the remains of this Roman city which was covered by the ashes from Mount Vesuvius. Continue to Cassino where you will visit its huge abbey where one of the cruellest World War II Battles took place. Visit Castel Gandolfo on the way back, a lovely medieval town located in a beautiful lake area which belongs to the Vatican and serves as the Pope’s summer residence. Continue back to Rome and check in at the hotel upon arrival. (B)
  • Day 15: Rome ~ Home
    Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home as your trip comes to an end. (B)

    Tourist from all over the world join this tour and it can vary from 4 passengers to 45 passengers.

    This is an Escorted Group Tour by coach with an English speaking guide. This guided tour features the highlights of certain cities in a brief visit.
  3. How much does single supplement or triple sharing cost?
    Single supplement costs an additional $920USD and triple sharing has a $70USD deduction.
  4. Which entrance fees are covered in this tour?
    Boat cruise to island of St. Giulio, to the area of St. Mark's in Venice, Murano glasswork in Venice, train to field of Miracles in Pisa, Ferry to St. Margarita, Portofino and Naples-Capri-Sorrento.
  5. Does this tour include any flights?
    This is a Land Only package tour and it does not include any flights. Please contact us for international flight rates.
  6. What if I don’t want to join the tour some days or only join for half a day?
    Due to this is a group tour, you will need to follow the group for the entire program and cannot deviate. Any deviation will result in a penalty at the discretion of the local office.
  7. Is there a luggage limit?
    The luggage allowed for each passenger on our Europe tours is limited to one piece of a maximum of 66lbs (note airlines and trains have their own limits, normally lower). We may refuse to accept excessively bulky luggage.
  8. Will someone help me with my luggage?
    Porterage is not included and you are responsible to handle your own luggage at all times.
  9. What mode of transportation will be used?
    This tour will use a Coach unless specifically stated.
  10. Will the bus have toilets?
    Some coaches may have toilets available, travelers are asked to limit its use (due to odors and absence of places where emptying and cleaning). Some coaches are fitted with toilets provided on a fee paying basis.
  11. Are the tours wheelchair friendly?
    Our Europe coaches are not equipped with access ramps for wheelchairs.
  12. What do I do if I want to extend my stay?
    Contact us and let us know if you want pre or post and how many days.
  13. How long is the duration of tour?
    A full day of tour is scheduled from around 8am to 7pm
  14. Can three guests stay in the same room?
    Europe has small rooms and in some countries it may be difficult to have 3 beds in a room. It may be a fold out bed or sofa bed. We do not recommend triple rooms/ triple sharing for 3 adults, we would suggest this for families travelling with a child.
  15. Can we change the meal plan?
    Charming Travel Destinations offers vegetarian meal options for travelers. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate certain food options in Europe like Gluten Free or Halal. Please inquire if you have any allergies we need to know about.
  16. What information do I need to provide to book?
    Please provide legal names, email address, phone number, mailing address, number of rooms (single-triple occupancy), travel insurance preference, birth dates, and passport information.
  17. Do I need a visa to visit Europe?
    In 2019, a Visa is not required for travelers with U.S. or Canadian passports to most countries in Europe.
  18. How much is the deposit to reserve a spot in the tour?
    For Land Only, the deposit is $300USD. For Land + Air packages, the deposit will be 50% of overall tour price
  19. Are there gratuities included? If not included, how much?
    Gratuities are not included and we suggest the equivalence of $10USD in euro per person per day.
  20. When should I expect to receive my travel documents and confirmations?
    Travel Documents and Hotel confirmations will be emailed out 1 week before arrival.
  21. What time can we check-in or out?
    The hotel check in is usually about 2pm and check out is 10am. If you want your room to be available for more time, consider booking an extra night.
  22. Are Airport Transfers included?
    Transfers are included & could be private or shared with other passengers. Airport must be located within 25 miles. Driver will wait a maximum of 1 hour. In case you are retained or delayed, it is your responsibility to contact the transfer number provided with your travel documents.
