  • Day 1: Luang Prabang
    Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, transfer to the hotel and check in. The remainder of the day will be at your own leisure to enjoy.
  • Day 2: Luang Prabang
    The morning will be at your own leisure to enjoy. In the afternoon, start your visit with Vat Vixoune influenced by Thai- Lu architecture and That Makmo, the watermelon shaped stupa. Proceed to Vat Xieng Thong, the most beautiful temple of Luang Prabang dating back from 16th century. Climb up Phousy Hill for a panoramic view of the city and the Mekong River. (B, D)
  • Day 3: Luang Prabang
    Watch Tagbat, the monks’ rounds, early in the morning. It is a ritual that is truly part of Lao people’s life and offers a memorable experience and great snapshots. Your guide will explain how to follow the strict customs and rules involved and visit fresh local market. Return to your hotel for breakfast. Start your day of visit the National Museum the former Royal King’s Palace then proceed to embark at the local pier of Luang Prabang on a traditional boat and cruise upstream on the Mekong River to visit the sacred Buddha caves. On the way stop at Thin Hong a picturesque village to get a glimpse of daily life. Visit Tham Ting and Tham Phoum caves in which you find hundreds of Buddha statues. Return to Luang Prabang by boat. On the way back stop at Ban Xang Khong, handmade paper village. Visit Ock Pop Tok (nice weaving work shop). Drop in the old city for a walk or shop at a Hmong market. (B, L)
  • Day 4: Luang Prabang ~ Yangon
    Excursion by car to Kuangsi waterfall 32 kms to the west of Luang Prabang. On the way, Short walk through the forest to the waterfall. After enjoying the scenery, take a swim in one of the nearby clear pools. Below the tiered limestone pools lies the Khmu village Ban Thapene. Khmu men are especially good basket weavers and can sometimes be watched crafting. Picnic lunch at Waterfall. Back to the city and transfer to the airport for your flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in. (B, L)
  • Day 5: Yangon
    Today, your journey begins with a tour through Yangon’s city. Visit first Sule Pagoda dating back to over 2,000 years. From there, proceed to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments, the Shwedagon Pagoda and stroll through the Bogyoke Market with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems stores. Then, transfer back to your hotel and the rest of the day will be yours to enjoy. (B)
  • Day 6: Yangon ~ Bagan
    After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for domestic flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, start your day with visiting the most significant pagodas and temples of Bagan including Shwezigon Pagdoa built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine, Shwe Gu Gyi Pagoda and Ananda Temple with its four magnificent standing Buddha images. In the afternoon after lunch at local restaurant, learn about the manufacturing of Myanmar’s most treasured handicrafts and visit a lacquer ware craftsmen’s workshop in nearby Myinkaba Village.. Later, continue to Manuha Temple built in Mon style in 1059 and explore Nanbaya Temple, a unique sandstone monument, which according to legends used to be palace site of the King Manuha. Visit the Archeological Museum housing countless beautiful Buddha images made of bronze, stone and lacquer. Complete the day by watching sunset over the majestic Ayeyarwaddy River from a temple top.   • Day 7: Bagan ~ Inle Lake
    After breakfast you are transferred to the airport for domestic flight to Heho. Upon arrival, drive to Nyaung Shwe and transfer to your hotel by boat. A full day excursion by boat on the Inle Lake. See the famous Inthar leg rowers, floating gardens, local methods of fishing, village life and magnificent scenery. You will visit the Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, one of the most sacred shrines in Myanmar, dating back to the 18th century, the Nga Phe Chaung Monastery with a superb collection of antique Buddha statues, the weaving village of Inpawkhon.   • Day 8: Yangon
    After breakfast board a boat to the western shore of Inle Lake where you will find the beginning of a stair path leading to the well hidden Indein Pagoda complex. (B, L, D)
  • Day 9: Inle Lake ~ Yangon
    After breakfast, transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, proceed to the magnificent reclining Buddha Chauk Htat Gyi. After a photo stop at Karaweik Hall, a barge on Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake. Afterwards, transfer to hotel and check in. The rest of the day will be yours to enjoy. (B)
  • Day 10: Yangon ~ Home
    Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home as your trip comes to an end. (B)
