  • Day 1: Home ~ Tokyo, Japan
    Depart from the US for your international flight to Tokyo.
  • Day 2: Tokyo, Japan
    Upon arrival in Tokyo, transfer to your hotel (on your own expense) and check in. The remainder of the day will be at your own leisure to enjoy.
    *Travelers making pre-extension stays or arriving at Haneda International Airport will need to arrange transfers to hotel on their own
  • Day 3: Tokyo
    After breakfast, we head to the Imperial Palace of Tokyo – the residence of the royal family – and visit the “double bridge” (Nijubashi) over the moat. Then, we proceed to Senso-ji, an ancient Buddhist temple. It is Tokyo’s oldest temple, and one of its most significant. On the approach to the temple. we will see the Nakamise-dori, housing many traditional shops for souvenirs. Then, head to the Meiji Shrine, dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. After the  original shrine was destroyed during World War II, the current one was re-built in 1958. This area is covered by an evergreen forest that consists of 120,000 trees of 365 different species, which were donated by many people all over Japan when the shrine was established. (B, L)
  • Day 4: Tokyo ~ Shizuoka
    After breakfast, we head to Fuji Mountain 5th Station, a perfect spot to view the stunning mountain. Visit Lake Kawaguchi– which commands a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. Then, visit the Heiwa Park. Tonight, we enjoy the famous Kaiseki, a traditional multi-course Japanese dinner. You can enjoy all facilities in your hotel including a hot spring spa. (B, L, D)
  • Day 5: Shizuoka ~ Kyoto
    After breakfast, we head to Atsuta Shrine. The shrine's Bunkaden, or treasure hall, houses over 4,000 relics including 174 Important Cultural Properties and a dagger that is designated as a National Treasure of Japan. Next, visit a Jewelry Workshop and proceed to Magome-juku. Magome-juku was the 43rd of the 69 stations of the Nakasendō, an ancient road that connected Kyoto and Edo during the Edo period. It was also the last of eleven stations along the Kisoji, a precursor to a part of the Nakasendō, running through the Kiso Valley. Finally, visit the Ena-kyo valley. (B, L, D)
  • Day 6: Kyoto ~ Osaka
    After breakfast, we shall go Kiyomizu-dera, the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple was founded in 778, and its present buildings were constructed in 1633, ordered by the Tokugawa Iemitsu. There is not a single nail used in the entire structure. Then, enjoy lunch before going to Nara's Tōdai-ji, the world’s largest wooden structure. Afterwards,spend some time shopping at the duty free and Shinsaibashi, and enjoy all kind of delicious cuisines in the nearby Dotonbori at your own expense. (B, L)
  • Day 7: Osaka ~ Beijing, China
    After breakfast, make your own way to the airport for your flight to Beijing. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel and check in. The remainder of the day will be yours to enjoy.  (B)
  • Day 8: Beijing
    Today, enjoy a full day tour and visit some of the major sights that the city has to offer. Visit the Summer Palace. Built in 1888, it was once a summer retreat and the imperial park for emperors.  Then, visit the Tiananmen Square, the symbolical heart of China and gathering place for the masses. It is the largest public square in the world, holding one million people. The Forbidden City is the inner sanctum and palace where Chinese emperors ruled their world for centuries.  It has a 9000-room maze of courtyards, places, and ceremonial halls, where 24 emperors used to live. Forbidden City was indeed a forbidden place, where commoners were kept out for nearly 500 years in the past. Tour the palace and imagine the mystery, intrigue and incredible power that reigned here. In the evening, enjoy an acrobatic show with a dinner. Watch the acrobatic performances crafted over the years in this show, a landmark of the evolution of acrobatics in China.  Witness traditional lion dancing, fire stunts, stunning bicycling and more.   • Day 9: Beijing ~ Xian
    With an appearance of a gigantic dragon across deserts, grasslands and mountains, the Great Wall of China is one of the 'Eight Wonders of the World'. To witness its wonders, we tour the Juyongguan portion of the Great Wall in the morning. Lastly, drive by Olympic Village and have a photo stop at the Bird Nest & Water Cube. Fly toward Xian at night, (FLIGHT INCLUDED). (B, L, D)
  • Day 10: Xian
    Enjoy a tour of the ancient city including the Shu Yuan Men Culture Street and the City Wall. Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. As the symbol of the old-line Xian, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayan Pagoda) is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. After, enjoy a Dumpling Banquet & Tang Dynasty Show. (B, L, D)
  • Day 11: Xian ~ Shanghai ~ Suzhou
    We will have a full day visit to the Terra-cotta Warriors & Horses,  the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century. Then, pay a visit to the Terra-cotta Figure Workshop en route. After lunch, tour the Shaanxi History Museum. After dinner, we will fly to Shanghai (FLIGHT INCLUDED) and transfer to the hotel in Suzhou (B, L, D)
  • Day 12: Suzhou ~ Hangzhou
    After breakfast, visit a classical garden of Suzhou- The Lingering Garden, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dating from the 11th-19th century, the gardens reflect the profound metaphysical importance of natural beauty in Chinese culture through  their meticulous design. Then, head to the Silk Factory to witness the process of producing silk. After, you will head to Hangzhou and take a boat to visit the West Lake, the soul of the city. The West Lake covers an area of 6 km (600 hectares) and includes some of Hangzhou's most notable historic and scenic places. Adjacent to the lake is a scenic area includes historical pagodas, cultural sites, as well as the natural beauty of the lake and hills, such as Flower Pond and Orioles Singing in the Willows. Lastly, enjoy a Hang Cuisine for Dinner. (B, L, D)
  • Day 13: Hangzhou ~ Shanghai
    In the morning, visit the Liuhe Pagoda. After, explore the Dragon-well Green Tea Plantation. Then, transfer back to Shanghai to enjoy a bird's eye-view of the city from the Shanghai World Financial Center. (B, L, D)
  • Day 14: Shanghai
    Today, you will get to enjoy a city tour that highlights the best of the Shanghai including the Shanghai Art Exhibition Center, Xinitiandi, Nanjing Road and the Bund. (B, L, D)
  • Day 15: Shanghai ~ Home
    Today, transfer to the airport for your flight back home as your trip comes to an end. (B)
