  • Day 1: London, England
    Welcome to London! On arrival to the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to the hotel. Later, our guide will give an overview of the tour or you can check the informative panels in the hotel reception area.
  • Day 2: London
    Get to know London on a guided tour featuring style, cul­ture and history. See Westminster, the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, the Tower of Lon­don and Buckingham Palace, where we shall be able to watch the famous “Changing of the Guard” (depending on the season). Free afternoon. In the evening, we will meet at a meeting point in Piccadilly to walk to Leicester Square, China Town and Soho with its amazing atmosphere, its theatres and bustle. Time for dinner in this area with numerous ethnic restaurants (Indian, Thai, Chinese, international, and so on). Return to the hotel from Picadilly. (B)
  • Day 3: London
    Free day. You can enjoy the charm of this city and explore and discover memorable places. (B)
  • Day 4: London ~ Paris, France
    We’ll see Canterbury, the ecclesiastic capital of England with its medieval atmosphere. We continue to Dover where, after border procedures, our coach will enter the trains that go through the Eurotunnel. We use this fantastic piece of engineering. Arrival in France and continuation to Amiens, known for its Gothic cathedral. You can stroll through its narrow streets full of life; and see the floating gardens and the house where Julio Verne lived. After that we continue to Paris. Arrival at the end of the day. (B)
  • Day 5: Paris
    Today we will take you on a guided tour in which you will discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of the city of Paris. We will stop at the Eiffel Tower where you will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable wrought-iron monument (ticket admission included). The tour will end with a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides north and south Paris. Enjoy an afternoon at your own leisure to explore and relax! At sunset you can grab dinner in the Latin Quarter, a very picturesque and historic area where a wide variety of international cuisines await you. We will then return to hotel. (B)
  • Day 6: Paris ~ Amboise
    We will start the day by transporting you to the Louvre Museum area in the centre of Paris. You will have some free time to explore at your own leisure. If you wish, we can accompany you to Benlux, which is one of the most complete and best-known perfumeries in Paris. At around 16:30h we will leave Paris for the Loire Valley. We will arrive in Amboise in the late afternoon. This city, which sits on the Loire River, is well-known thanks to Leonardo Da Vinci, who lived and died there. It also has a large castle and a beautiful historic town centre with quaint narrow streets. (B)
  • Day 7: Amboise ~ Boredeaux ~ Lourdes
    We will continue on our way to the south of France. We will cross lands full of vineyards. Bordeaux. Where we will have time for lunch and a stroll through this city, whose centre was declared a World Heritage Site. We suggest you visit the Port of the Moon and St Andrew’s Cathedral. We will then continue towards the Pyrenees. Lourdes, arrival in the late afternoon. You can attend the candle procession (which takes place until the end of October) and visit the places of worship. We include dinner at the hotel for all our passengers. (B, D)

  • Day 8: Lourdes ~ Saint Bernard ~ Carcassonne ~ Andorra
    Skirting the Pyrenees, we will stop in Saint Bernard, a medieval village perched on the mountainside, dominated by its great cathedral. Time for a stroll before travelling on to Carcassonne, a city surrounded by beautiful walls. We continue through The Pyrenees on a journey between the, often, snow-capped summits, and cross into the small country of Andorra. Dinner included. (B, D)
  • Day 9: Andorra ~ Montserrat, Spain ~ Barcelona
    We will have free time in Andorra for shopping and exploring. After lunch, we will continue our trip and head to Catalonia. The mountain countryside leads us to the impressive site of the Montserrat Monastry, where you will go up the mountain on a rack train to see its fantastic scenery. Following this we will continue to Barcelona, arriving in the late afternoon. (B)
  • Day 10: Barcelona
    Today we will explore Barcelona, an impressive city right on the Medi­terranean Sea. Starting by an informative city tour with a local expert (note: If the group has fewer than fifteen people, explanations can be given by our guide.) We will also visit the city’s historic central area with its Gothic neighborhood dating back to the Middle Ages. We will visit the area where the Olympic Games took place. We will also get the chance to see La Sagrada Fa­milia Basilica, the masterpiece designed by the architect Gaudí. Following this, we include the entry ticket to visit ‘Poble Espanyol’ (meaning ‘Spanish Village’). This open-air architectural museum is situated in one of the most emblematic areas of Barcelona. Enjoy the Spanish craftsmanship and discover the architectural styles, traditions and folklore of the different regions that make up Spain. You will then have some free time to explore the city at your own leisure. In the evening we provide a transfer to Las Ramblas and the Plaza Cata­lunya area for dinner, where you can choose from a wide variety of restaurants. We will return to the hotel in the late evening.   • Day 11: Barcelona ~ Peniscola ~ Valencia ~ Madrid
    We will journey south along the Mediterranean, making a special stop in Peniscola, a small walled town on the shores of the sea and where we have time for a stroll. We will then travel to Valencia, the third largest city in Spain. After time for lunch in its historic city centre, at 16.30 hrs, we will continue our route to Madrid after passing through the avant-garde City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia where we can take a picture. Arrival to Madrid at the end of the day and transfer to the Plaza Mayor where we can relax at some typical taverns. Note: Depending on the number of passengers, the journey between Valencia and Madrid may be done by high-speed train. (B)
  • Day 12: Madrid
    The morning starts with a comprehensive tour through the centre of Madrid including the Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor. We then will visit Retiro Park, an oasis in the city centre, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. A visit to Las Ventas Bullring (admission included) is next. This is one of the most famous bullrings in the world where we will learn about the tradition of the “corridas” at the Bullfighting Museum. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your own leisure. At sunset we will provide a transfer to Plaza de Oriente, opposite the Royal Palace, an elegant and bustling area with many restaurants serving different cuisines, such as local Spanish food, international and Chinese. Enjoy a pleasant dinner of your choice. At the end of the evening we will return to the hotel together.(B)
  • Day 13: Madrid ~ Home
    Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home as your trip comes to an end. (B)

    Single supplement costs an additional $950USD and triple sharing has a $60USD deduction.

    This is a Land Only package tour and it does not include any flights. Please contact us for international flight rates.
  6. What if I don’t want to join the tour some days or only join for half a day?
    Due to this is a group tour, you will need to follow the group for the entire program and cannot deviate. Any deviation will result in a penalty at the discretion of the local office.
  7. Is there a luggage limit?
    The luggage allowed for each passenger on our Europe tours is limited to one piece of a maximum of 66lbs (note airlines and trains have their own limits, normally lower). We may refuse to accept excessively bulky luggage.
  8. Will someone help me with my luggage?
    Porterage is not included and you are responsible to handle your own luggage at all times.
  9. What mode of transportation will be used?
    This tour will use a Coach unless specifically stated.
  10. Will the bus have toilets?
    Some coaches may have toilets available, travelers are asked to limit its use (due to odors and absence of places where emptying and cleaning). Some coaches are fitted with toilets provided on a fee paying basis.
  11. Are the tours wheelchair friendly?
    Our Europe coaches are not equipped with access ramps for wheelchairs.
  12. What do I do if I want to extend my stay?
    Contact us and let us know if you want pre or post and how many days.
  13. How long is the duration of tour?
    A full day of tour is scheduled from around 8am to 7pm
  14. Can three guests stay in the same room?
    Europe has small rooms and in some countries it may be difficult to have 3 beds in a room. It may be a fold out bed or sofa bed. We do not recommend triple rooms/ triple sharing for 3 adults, we would suggest this for families travelling with a child.
  15. Can we change the meal plan?
    Charming Travel Destinations offers vegetarian meal options for travelers. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate certain food options in Europe like Gluten Free or Halal. Please inquire if you have any allergies we need to know about.
  16. What information do I need to provide to book?
    Please provide legal names, email address, phone number, mailing address, number of rooms (single-triple occupancy), travel insurance preference, birth dates, and passport information.
  17. Do I need a visa to visit Europe?
    In 2019, a Visa is not required for travelers with U.S. or Canadian passports to most countries in Europe.
  18. How much is the deposit to reserve a spot in the tour?
    For Land Only, the deposit is $300USD. For Land + Air packages, the deposit will be 50% of overall tour price
  19. Are there gratuities included? If not included, how much?
    Gratuities are not included and we suggest the equivalence of $10USD in euro per person per day.
  20. When should I expect to receive my travel documents and confirmations?
    Travel Documents and Hotel confirmations will be emailed out 1 week before arrival.
  21. What time can we check-in or out?
    The hotel check in is usually about 2pm and check out is 10am. If you want your room to be available for more time, consider booking an extra night.
  22. Are Airport Transfers included?
    Transfers are included & could be private or shared with other passengers. Airport must be located within 25 miles. Driver will wait a maximum of 1 hour. In case you are retained or delayed, it is your responsibility to contact the transfer number provided with your travel documents.
