  • Day 1: Beijing
    Upon arrival in Beijing, transfer to the hotel and check in. The remainder of the day will be at your leisure to enjoy. (Meals are not included)

    ***The recommended arrival airport is Beijing Capital Airport (PEK). If you arrival at Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX), you will need to pay $45/per person.                                                                                                     

  • Day 2: Beijing
    The entire day will be at your own leisure to enjoy or opt for an optional tour from below. (B)

    Day 3 : Beijing
    After breakfast, proceed to visit the Great Wall. Built over 2,000 years ago to stave off nomadic invasions from the north, the gargantuan wall trails for over 5,500 miles across China like an imperial dragon. Next, make a stop at a Jade Store to learn about China's Jade industry and what it means to the Chinese who always wear some kind of jade jewelry.  Jade has been traditionally used since prehistoric times for axe heads, knives and clubbing weapons as well as for ornaments and jewelry.  End your day with a visit to the Chinese Herbal Institute to learn about traditional Chinese medicine which has a history over thousands of years in China.   • Day 4: Beijing ~Xian
    This morning is a free leisure  for you to do some last minute exploring or souvenir shopping on your own. Relax and get up at the time you please and set your own vacation pace. You will be transferred to Xian today by either plane or bullet train. (B)

  • Day 5: Xian 
    In the morning, visit the famous Terra Cotta Warriors. It is a super large collection of life-size terra cotta sculptures in battle formations, reproducing the mega imperial guard troops of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of the first unified dynasty of Imperial China. Being the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Terracotta Army is no doubt a must-see for every visitor to Xian. In the afternoon, visit the Terra Cotta Warrriors Reproduction Factory and see how they were made. End your day with a tour to the Xian Museum. (B, L)

  • Day 6: Xian - Wuxi or Shanghai ~ Suzhou
    This morning is leisure for you to explore Xian on your own. So many cute little streets to stroll in and so much to see for free like the Bell Tower and much more.  This afternoon you will be transferred to the airport and fly to to Suzhou via Wuxi or Shanghai OR you will take a bullet train to Wuxi. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in. (B)

  • Day 7: Suzhou
    In the morning, visit the Lingering Garden, one of the four most famous gardens in China. Possessing typical Qing style, it is well known for the exquisite beauty of its magnificent halls and the various sizes, shapes, and colors of the buildings. After that, proceed to the Silk Factory and learn about how silk was invented in Ancient China and played an important role in their culture and economy for thousands of years. (B)

  • Day 8: Suzhou ~ Wuxi ~ Shanghai
    After breakfast, depart to Wuxi, on the way, you will visit Li Lake Scenic Spot. Upon arrival, tour a Pearl Factory and learn aall about pearl and how to spot imitation pearls from real ones. Next, discover the beautiful standing Big Buddha known as the Lingshan Grand Buddha. This Buddha is the world's tallest open-air bronze statue, it has a height of 88 meters. End your day with a drive to Shanghai and check in to your hotel. (B)

    After breakfast, you will visit the Shanghai Museum and spend some leisure time at the famous Bund. (B)

      1. What is the group size of this tour?
        Tourist from all over the world join this tour and it can vary from 4 passengers to 20 passengers. Our China tours are suitable for families, kids, seniors.
      2. What kind of tour is this?
        This is an Escorted Group Tour by coach. This guided tour features the highlights of certain cities in a brief visit.
      3. How much does single supplement or triple sharing cost?
        Single supplement costs an additional $350USD and triple sharing has a $45USD deduction.
      4. Does this tour include any flights?
        Land Only packages only include domestic flights within one country. International flights are not included.
      5. What if I don’t want to join the tour some days or only join for half a day?
        Due to this is a group tour, you will need to follow the group for the entire program on days of tours and cannot deviate. Any deviation will result in a penalty at the discretion of the local office. However, you will have enough leisure time to do as you please.
      6. Is there a luggage limit?
        The luggage allowed for each passenger on our Group tours is limited to one piece of a maximum of 66lbs (note airlines and trains have their own limits, normally lower). We may refuse to accept excessively bulky luggage.
      7. Will someone help me with my luggage?
        Porterage is not included and you are responsible to handle your own luggage at all times.
      8. What mode of transportation will be used?
        This tour will use a Coach unless specifically stated.
      9. Will the bus have toilets?
        China Group tours will not have toilets in the bus.
      10. Are the tours wheelchair friendly?
        Our coaches are not equipped with access ramps for wheelchairs.
      11. What do I do if I want to extend my stay?
        Contact us and let us know if you want pre or post and how many days.
      12. How long is the duration of tour?
        A full day of tour is scheduled from around 8am to 7pm
      13. Can three guests stay in the same room?
        Yes, they can. Hotel rooms in China tend to be international standard. It may be a fold out bed or sofa bed. We would suggest this for families travelling with a child.
      14. Can we change the meal plan?
        Charming Travel Destinations offers vegetarian meal options for travelers. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate certain food options in China like Gluten Free or specific allergies during Group tours. For private tours, we can accommodate anything, but for this group tour we cannot. Please inquire if you have any allergies we need to know about.
      15. What information do I need to provide to book?
        Please provide legal names, email address, phone number, mailing address, number of rooms (single-triple occupancy), travel insurance preference, birth dates, and passport information.
      16. Do I need a visa to visit China?
        US and Canada passport holders need a visa to visit China. All else, please contact us to check. For California residents we charge $220USD, out of state in the US is $280USD. You will need to mail us your passport, 2 passport photos, copy of ID, copy of e-ticket and fill out this form and mail it along with everything else.
      17. How much is the deposit to reserve a spot in the tour?
        For Land Only, the deposit is $300USD. For Land + Air packages, the deposit will be 50% of overall tour price
      18. Are there gratuities included? If not included, how much?
        Gratuities are already included. No need to tip in China to the guide or driver.
      19. When should I expect to receive my travel documents and confirmations?
        Travel Documents and Hotel confirmations will be emailed out 1 week before arrival.
      20. What time can we check-in or out?
        The hotel check in is usually about 2pm and check out is 10am. If you want your room to be available for more time, consider booking an extra night.
      21. Are airport transfers included?
        Airport transfers are included in China. This service is subject to limitations such as hour, airport terminal and as stated on the itinerary.
      22. Are the hotels listed the exact ones we will get?
        Final hotel confirmation will not be available until 1 week prior to departure. Hotels may be confirmed at any of the hotels listed or at similar properties.
      23. Does this tour have any shopping stops?

In addition, Yangzhuang Metro Station is just a short walk away. Seeing Beijing's sights from this hotel is easy with Ling-guang Monastery, Dabei Temple and Xiwang Park all close by.
