  • Day 1: Hanoi, Vietnam
    Upon arrival in Hanoi, transfer to the hotel and check in. The remainder of the day will be at your own leisure to enjoy.
  • Day 2: Hanoi 
    In the morning, visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from outside only and the former President’s stilt house where Uncle Ho lived from 1958 to 1969. Continue visiting the iconic One Pillar Pagoda and Museum of Ethnology. In the afternoon visit Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake. Enjoy the famous Water Puppet Show, a unique Vietnamese traditional art form that takes its origins from rural festivals in Vietnam. Take a fun stroll around the Old Quarter of Hanoi, with 36 old streets before heading to typical Hanoi local coffee shop where you settle down for refreshment with local drink or a glass of Bia Hoi, fresh locally brewed beer.   • Day 3: Hanoi ~ Halong Bay
    Proceed to Halong Bay. Discover Halong Bay, “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, is recognized as a new World Heritage of outstanding natural beauty. Picturesque Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. (B, L, D)
  • Day 4: Halong Bay ~ Hanoi ~ Hoi An
    Continue the cruise program. Disembark and leave Halong around noon. Return to Hanoi and proceed to airport for flight to Da Nang. Be welcomed and transferred to Hoi An. Check in at hotel. (B, L)
  • Day 5: Hanoi
    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Take a full day tour to explore Hanoi's illustrious history. In the morning, visit the imposing marble edifice housing the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum (Closed on Mondays & Fridays) before moving onto his wooden stilt house and the One Pillar Pagoda. You will then explore the first university of Vietnam, the Temple of Literature, which is imbued with the profound philosophies of Confucianism. In the afternoon, visit the Hoan Kiem Lake and the Ngoc Son Temple. A one-hour cyclo tour of Hanoi's Old Quarter allows you to catch a glimpse of ancient Hanoi and learn about traditional Vietnamese architecture. The tour includes a stop at an ancient Vietnamese "long house". (B, L)
  • Day 6: Hoi An ~ Siem Reap
    In the morning, depart from the hotel for a half-day excursion, 40 km southwest of Hoi An to visit the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom, namely My Son, designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The sanctuary houses dozens of red-brick towers and temples, dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries, spread in a lush green valley. After visit, transfer to Danang airport for flight to Siem Reap. Arrive at Siem Reap and transfer in with guide to the hotel for check-in. (B) 
  • Day 7: Siem Reap
    Enter Angkor Thom via the Southern Gate and explore the ancient city. Then proceed to visit the ruins at Bayon, Baphoun, Baksei Chamkrong, the Elephant Terrace and the Leper King Terrace. In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Angkor Wat. Explore its extraordinary architecture. Afterward, continue to visit the Ta Prohm Temple. It is famous for the temples that are overgrown and covered by trees. The atmosphere was truly Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider like. Tonight, enjoy dinner with Aspara Dance Performance. (B, L, D)
  • Day 8: Siem Reap ~ Home
    This morning, visit the Banteasy Srey Temple. Considered by many to be the jewel in the crown of Angkorian art, Banteay Srey is cut from stone of a pinkish hue and includes some of the finest stone carving anywhere on earth. Continue to Preah Khan. For tantalizing lost-world ambience, the Preah Khan Temple Enclosure can't be beaten. Covering almost 5 sq km, this temple complex is the largest temple enclosure constructed during the Angkorian period. Lastly, visit the Neak Pean Temple, is the most unconventional of the Angkor Temples, a unique island-temple in the middle of the Jayataka or Northern Baray which is the same time surrounded by other 4 smaller square ponds. After the visit, transfer to the airport for your flight back home as your trip comes to an end. (B)
