  • Day 1:  Zagreb, Croatia
    Upon arrival in Zagreb, transfer to the hotel and check in. The remainder of the day will be at yours to enjoy.
  • Day 2: Zagreb
    The morning will be at your own leisure to enjoy. Perhaps take a stroll in one of their beautiful crystal clear beaches. In the afternoon, take a sightseeing tour of the city. You will have a chance to admire its two hills, the upper town, and the new neighborhoods of Croatia’s Capital City. (B, D)
  • Day 3: Zagreb ~ Sarajevo, Bosnia
    Depart in the early morning to travel to Bosnia. Border procedures and entry into Bosnia. The border areas still show sad memories of the conflict in the nineteen nineties. Take a stroll around Maglaj, a pretyy Bosnian village. Continue to Sarajevo and take a sightseeing tour of this highly Turk-influenced city – its musks, madrassas and hectic bazaars. Visit the Tunnel of Hope which saved the city during the Serbian siege during the war. (B, D)
  • Day 4: Sarajevo ~ Dubrovnik, Croatia
    Another exciting stage of scenic beauty. Amidst deep valleys, visit Mostar with its very beautiful historic centre and Stonebridge separating the Orthodox, Muslim, and Catholic communities. Afterward, stop in Medjugorge,  a place that attracts thousands of Catholic pilgrims. Continue to Kravica*** and stop at its magnificent waterfalls before heading to Croatia. Arrival in Dubrovnik and check in at the hotel. (B, D)

  • Day 5: Dubrovnik
    In the morning, take a panoramic tour of Dubrovnik. Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities of Europe, surrounded by walls, bathed by the Adriatic Sea; its intact historic centre is a jewel of world architectural heritage. Visit the Franciscan Monastery with the oldest pharmacy in Europe and Dubrovnik Cathedral. A Cable Car Ride is also included to give you a fantastic view of the city and the neighbouring islands. The afternoon will be at your own leisure to enjoy. (B, D)
  • Day 6: Dubrovnik ~ Split
    We will depart in the morning travelling along the Croatian coastline which displays amazing seascapes with islands. Arrive in Split in the afternoon and visit the Diocletian’s Palace. You will tour this immense palace from the Roman period, its labyrinth of streets, and its sea vistas. (B, D)
  • Day 7: Split ~ Opatija
    Today, travel to the interior region of Croatia, going through beautiful hilly landscapes to finally arrive in Plitvice Lakes National Park, which was added to UNESCO World Heritage List, where you will admire its lakes and waterfalls. You will be able to trek along its trails and take the boats that sail through the waters of these lakes. In the afternoon, you will travel back to the coast toward the north of Croatia to Opatija and sojourn in this resort town which offers a charming night life. (B, D)
  • Day 8: Opatija ~ Ljubjana, Slovenia
    Today, enter into Slovenia. You will travel to Postjona, one of the world’s biggest caves which is partially toured by train. After, visit Bled, a gorgeous postcard town on the shore of the lake in the middle of which there is an islet where the bell tower of a monastery stands out at the foot of a medieval castle. A Boat Trip around the Bled’s lake and a visit of the monastery on the islet. Continue your trip to Slovenia’s capital city, Ljubljana and tour the beautiful Central European city. (B, D)
  • Day 9: Ljubjana ~ Zagreb

    Tourist from all over the world join this tour and it can vary from 4 passengers to 45 passengers.
  2. What kind of tour is this?
    This is an Escorted Group Tour by coach with an English speaking guide. This guided tour features the highlights of certain cities in a brief visit.
  3. How much does single supplement or triple sharing cost?
    Single supplement costs an additional $790USD and triple sharing has a $45USD deduction.
  4. Which entrance fees are covered in this tour?
    Tunnel of Hope in Sarajevo, Kravice Waterfall, Franciscan Monastery and Cathedra in Dubrovnik, Diocletian's Palace in Split, Plitvice Lakes National Park including boat or train tours in Plitvice, Postjona Caves, furnicular in Dubrovnik, Boat tour around Bled Lake.
  5. Does this tour include any flights?
    This is a Land Only package tour and it does not include any flights. Please contact us for international flight rates.
  6. What if I don’t want to join the tour some days or only join for half a day?
    Due to this is a group tour, you will need to follow the group for the entire program and cannot deviate. Any deviation will result in a penalty at the discretion of the local office.
  7. Is there a luggage limit?
    The luggage allowed for each passenger on our Europe tours is limited to one piece of a maximum of 66lbs (note airlines and trains have their own limits, normally lower). We may refuse to accept excessively bulky luggage.
  8. Will someone help me with my luggage?
    Porterage is not included and you are responsible to handle your own luggage at all times.
  9. What mode of transportation will be used?
    This tour will use a Coach unless specifically stated.
  10. Will the bus have toilets?
    Some coaches may have toilets available, travelers are asked to limit its use (due to odors and absence of places where emptying and cleaning). Some coaches are fitted with toilets provided on a fee paying basis.
  11. Are the tours wheelchair friendly?
    Our Europe coaches are not equipped with access ramps for wheelchairs.
  12. What do I do if I want to extend my stay?
    Contact us and let us know if you want pre or post and how many days.
  13. How long is the duration of tour?
    A full day of tour is scheduled from around 8am to 7pm
  14. Can three guests stay in the same room?
    Europe has small rooms and in some countries it may be difficult to have 3 beds in a room. It may be a fold out bed or sofa bed. We do not recommend triple rooms/ triple sharing for 3 adults, we would suggest this for families travelling with a child.
  15. Can we change the meal plan?
    Charming Travel Destinations offers vegetarian meal options for travelers. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate certain food options in Europe like Gluten Free or Halal. Please inquire if you have any allergies we need to know about.
  16. What information do I need to provide to book?
    Please provide legal names, email address, phone number, mailing address, number of rooms (single-triple occupancy), travel insurance preference, birth dates, and passport information.
  17. Do I need a visa to visit Europe?
    In 2019, a Visa is not required for travelers with U.S. or Canadian passports to most countries in Europe.
  18. How much is the deposit to reserve a spot in the tour?
    For Land Only, the deposit is $300USD. For Land + Air packages, the deposit will be 50% of overall tour price
  19. Are there gratuities included? If not included, how much?
    Gratuities are not included and we suggest the equivalence of $10USD in euro per person per day.
  20. When should I expect to receive my travel documents and confirmations?
    Travel Documents and Hotel confirmations will be emailed out 1 week before arrival.
  21. What time can we check-in or out?
    The hotel check in is usually about 2pm and check out is 10am. If you want your room to be available for more time, consider booking an extra night.
  22. Are Airport Transfers included?
    Transfers are included & could be private or shared with other passengers. Airport must be located within 25 miles. Driver will wait a maximum of 1 hour. In case you are retained or delayed, it is your responsibility to contact the transfer number provided with your travel documents.
